Where Is All the Clean Fiction
It’s out there but it’s not easy to find.

Readers, do you like clean fiction? More than mild romance, but YA sci-fi that’s big on action but short on swears and, ahem, intimate encounters?

Romance is always going to be a big seller across all demos, and romantasy is right up there with it. Supernatural, Fae, Fantasy - but not many mechs or superheroes. Starting to think this niche of mine is nonexistent.
This Reddit thread offers some classics but ultimately comes up a bit short on suggestions.
This post was particularly interesting and didn’t age well.
I write clean YA sci-fi superhero stories. I know clean fiction is out there, of course, but books with heavier violence, naughty words, and spice remain undefeated. I like to think I write to *a* market, but where is it? Did I mention my main character is male? Am I picking an uphill battle that can’t be won? Readers, I know you’re out there wanting more variety.
