Title reveal! The Eric Icarus Mythos will deepen with this prequel short story that takes place years before the events of Unsecret Identity and sheds light on a dark chapter in the life of Eric Icarus.

Avenge Her will be released later this year and expand the lore established in Eric Icarus - Book One and The Supervillain’s Oath.

On the day of a weapons demonstration of an advanced set of cybernetic armor, fame-craving scientist David Boxworth expects his invention to set him for life. After a disastrous accident, David’s life spirals into darkness, leaving him questioning his city’s heroes and taking fate into his own hands.

Based on traditional word count lengths, this story is technically a novelette. Not short enough for a flash fiction, but not quite long enough to be considered a novella - no matter the commonly used categorization requirements, Avenge Her will be an exciting and intriguing entry in the overall story of Eric Icarus.

Unsecret Identity: Eric Icarus - Book One - full-length novel

Each story stands on its own and does not require anyone to read any additional story. The stories do, however, exist in the same universe and tell tales that all link together. These stories are written with the intent of discovering more about the world without spoiling Ang other book. Readers do not have to read these in any particular order.

In Avenge Her, David Boxworth is the main character, and we see the action and sci-fi drama unfold from his point of view. David has his own POV chapters in Unsecret Identity, and he was one of my favorite characters to write. A uniquely flawed man whose ambition often makes him his own worst enemy, David’s story is filled with tragedy and the burning will to rebuild.
