Separated only by a pane of glass, the young superhero must look evil in its eye - or in the case of the case of the dangerous villain Hotwire, an eerie faceless abyss. Can the heroes foil the criminal mastermind's chaotic scheme, or will the city's greatest defenders go to an extreme they must keep hidden for generations to come?”
The characters featured in this story will also appear in unexpected ways in an upcoming full-length novel adventure. That being said, you don’t need any prior knowledge of these characters, their world, or their backstory. Follow the heroes and villains of New St. Cloud City from the beginning as the legend grows.
Sidebar is a cocky teen sidekick that is dying to prove his mettle. His mentor, the older Judge Justice, wants his junior partner to witness the seedy underbelly of crime - and to be face-to-face with the worst foe the team has ever faced to ensure if he is truly ready for the life of a costumed champion of justice. Hotwire is manipulative, cruel, and cunning - she is secure in her special cell, but is still not to be trusted. Trapped inside a supervillain prison, the endangered duo of Judge Justice and Sidebar are in for the fight of their lives when inmates start busting out of their cages.
As the rest of the Super Society joins the fracas, Hotwire gives the heroes a chance to end the chaos and save the city - decipher “the Supervillain’s Oath” and the danger goes away.
Sidebar must use all his training to survive a night of real world hysteria, all while solving the perplexing conundrum presented by the villainous Hotwire. If Sidebar helps save his squad as well as the citizens of the city, he’ll become a legend. But no one person should hold too much power.
